Dance Steps was created in collaboration with the Education department at the Kennedy Center, and encourages visitors to dance their way down the sidewalk. The brief called for a movable and updatable artwork that would encourage visitors to view dance as accessible and fun. This iteration shows steps to the Twist, a Kennedy-era dance craze that was reportedly one of Jackie Kennedy's favorites.
